Staying at Heatherlea Bed & Breakfast was delightful. The room had a comfortable double bed, immaculate bathroom, and stunning views of Kirkwall and the harbour. Amenities such as USB charging points and tea/coffee facilities added a personal touch. Breakfast choices were extensive and delicious, with options catering to special diets. The hosts were incredibly welcoming. Debbie even helped plan parts of my trip, enhancing the experience. Only downside was that a more powerful shower would have been nice, especially after a day exploring. The location was perfect, just a short walk to town.

Exceptional comfort in a charming town
The hosts, Debbie and Bruce, truly go above and beyond to ensure a delightful stay. The breakfast options catered to all tastes and the attention to detail was impressive. I loved the cozy atmosphere, especially while sipping coffee in the bright breakfast room overlooking the harbour.
While my room was lovely, I did find the lack of a mini fridge a tad inconvenient, especially during the cooler, windy days of my visit. the experience overall was far from diminished.

I really enjoyed chilling in the cozy common area and relaxing in the lovely garden after a day out. Had an awesome time with friends! We enjoyed exploring the Neolithic sites and local landscapes, plus, the breakfast had loads of choices that catered to everyone. The atmosphere was cozy, and the hosts made us feel at home right from the start. Perfect location for hitting up nearby attractions too!
The only downside was the lack of a mini fridge in the room, which would have been helpful for keeping drinks cool during our stay.
